Summer Announcements

Summer Meals: To help combat child hunger and food insecurity within our community, Food Services will be serving meals this summer to all* children in the community aged 18 and under. 

Schedule: Mondays- meals for Mon through Wed. Wednesdays- meals for Thurs through Sun.

Dates: June 14 - July 21

When: Mon & Wed from 12:30pm - 2:00pm

Where: Jane Addams, William Anderson, Mark Twain & Kit Carson

*ESY & RAP students will receive their meals each day they come to school.

Summer RAP: This FREE program will take place from June 15th - July 23rd. All grade levels are welcomed to participated. Families may choose from the following options:

  • 8:45-12:15pm - In Person @ Mark Twain (waitlisted)
  • 1:00-4:00pm -  Virtual program

Summer Reading: Induldge in some reading over the summer! Many resources available to continue growing in fluency and knowledge!

LESD State Preschool: We are now offering FREE  preschool in our community! This program is available for children ages 3-4.

Reduced Price on Internet: The government is providing assistance for low income households with internet connection and reduced price for computers/devices.

If your provider is linked to this program, you may qualify for this monthly service discount and one device discount. One per household.
