Principal's Message

Dear Smith families,

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! You are a valuable part of our school community and I invite you to join us in the wonderful teaching and learning that occurs every day. You can support your child and our school community by joining the PTA, attending our School Site Council/English Learner Advisory Committee meetings, participating in our parent workshops, and joining us at our Family Night events. I will share a weekly newsletter which outlines upcoming events and highlights the wonderful things that are taking place at school. I also encourage you to follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

This school year, Lucille Smith Elementary and the Lawndale Elementary School District will focus on the following four goals:

• Goal 2 – Ensure Access & Equity
• Goal 3 – Improve Parent & Student Engagement
• Goal 4 – Provide 21st Century Learning Environments
