Current Volunteer Opportunities at Smith
At Smith, we have many opportunities to volunteer throughout the year. Please contact our Community Liaison to volunteer:
- Committee Involvement: Our school and district have an array of committees that require parent engagement.
- Clerical Support: Our teachers appreciate the support given to them by aiding their clerical assignments. Our office staff appreciates the support and time our volunteers dedicate to providing quality communication products and distribution.
- Field Trip: Chaperone Our school arranges a wide range of field trips for our students throughout the year. Teachers depend on the support and participation of parent chaperones.
- Gardening: Our school garden is an asset to the community. Our gardening elective requires volunteer support to effectively complete their projects. Any and all time is appreciated!
- Parent Teacher Association (PTA): Our school hosts a wide range of fundraisers throughout the school year in order to provide student enrichment opportunities. Join now to share fundraiser ideas and/or support the cause!
- School Events: Our school hosts different events throughout the school year including family nights, workshops, and the SSR Store. Volunteer support is crucial in order to provide the best experience possible for our students and families!
